About Chef Maziar Daryaei
Chef Maziar Daryaei is an international chef and a leading figure in the world of modern cuisine. He specializes in conceptual design within the food and beverage industry and is an official member of global culinary federations.
At the age of 19, he began his professional journey by studying at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley, San Francisco. He then further honed his expertise at Copenhagen KOK School (CPH HRS) in Denmark.
His inspiring collaboration with Chef Bo Beck marked the start of a path that blends academic knowledge with experiential creativity, becoming the cornerstone of his innovative culinary creations.
Chef Daryaei is an official member of the Danish Food and Beverage Federation (DCF) and the American Culinary Federation (ACF). He has held positions such as Head Chef, Executive Chef, Recipe Developer, Project Manager, and Specialist Consultant at renowned international centers and institutions including:
Marriott Hotel Copenhagen
House of Prime Rib and Yacht Club in the United States
Hereford Beefsteak Denmark
Danish Ministry of Defense and Parliament
Vivaldi International Group
He has played a key role in leading and elevating culinary standards within these establishments.
Private Chef to the Royal Family
He is also an expert in design, setup, and consultancy within the HORECA industry (hotels, restaurants, cafes, and food services). His specialties include creating and implementing innovative concepts for restaurants, fast-food outlets, and cafes in international markets, as well as developing production lines for food industry factories.
In recent years, his outstanding work as the private chef for the Saudi royal family has established him as a renowned figure in the field of international ceremonial cuisine. He has been responsible for designing and executing exclusive menus for high-profile personalities, including Prince Khalid, and has participated in the following projects.

Great Future 2030
Riyadh

United Nations COP16 Summit
Riyadh - 2024

Dakar Rally
2025

He has played a key role in leading ceremonial culinary teams and crafting exceptional dining experiences. In these positions, he is recognized not only as a chef but also as a flavor strategist and cultural food consultant—someone who uses cuisine as a second language for diplomacy and communication.
In 2024, at the Culinary Olympics in Stuttgart, Germany, Chef Maziar Daryaei was awarded the “Knight of Culinary Honor” medal by Chef Thomas Gugler, President of the World Association of Chefs Societies. His image was enshrined on the Olympic Hall of Fame wall, and that same year, he also received the Honorary Medal from the Saudi Arabian Culinary Federation.
His main expertise lies in global classic and modern cuisines, including French, Nordic, Italian, Mexican, and Middle Eastern cooking. He is also an official Worldchefs judge specializing in vegan and hot kitchen categories and actively serves on the judging panels of international culinary competitions.
In Iran, Chef Daryaei has made a significant impact on the culinary scene by establishing the Italian café-restaurant brand “Pergo.” Through his candid and bold criticism of the widespread issue of fake foreign culinary certifications and the influence of bloggers and reviewers lacking professional expertise, he has become a distinctive voice in Iranian media. His interview with TVplus network emphasized the importance of specialized knowledge, professional ethics, and genuine experience in the industry.
Sharing the Stage with Global Culinary Icons
His professional portfolio includes collaborations with world-renowned chefs such as Thomas Gugler, Francis Cardenao, Jakob, and Alexander, notably at the Michelin-starred Marchal restaurant in Denmark.
