About Chef Maziar Daryaei

Chef Maziar Daryaei is an international chef and a leading figure in the world of modern cuisine. He specializes in conceptual design within the food and beverage industry and is an official member of global culinary federations.

At the age of 19, he began his professional journey by studying at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley, San Francisco. He then further honed his expertise at Copenhagen KOK School (CPH HRS) in Denmark.
His inspiring collaboration with Chef Bo Beck marked the start of a path that blends academic knowledge with experiential creativity, becoming the cornerstone of his innovative culinary creations.

Chef Daryaei is an official member of the Danish Food and Beverage Federation (DCF) and the American Culinary Federation (ACF). He has held positions such as Head Chef, Executive Chef, Recipe Developer, Project Manager, and Specialist Consultant at renowned international centers and institutions including:

In 2024, at the Culinary Olympics in Stuttgart, Germany, Chef Maziar Daryaei was awarded the “Knight of Culinary Honor” medal by Chef Thomas Gugler, President of the World Association of Chefs Societies. His image was enshrined on the Olympic Hall of Fame wall, and that same year, he also received the Honorary Medal from the Saudi Arabian Culinary Federation.

His main expertise lies in global classic and modern cuisines, including French, Nordic, Italian, Mexican, and Middle Eastern cooking. He is also an official Worldchefs judge specializing in vegan and hot kitchen categories and actively serves on the judging panels of international culinary competitions.

In Iran, Chef Daryaei has made a significant impact on the culinary scene by establishing the Italian café-restaurant brand “Pergo.” Through his candid and bold criticism of the widespread issue of fake foreign culinary certifications and the influence of bloggers and reviewers lacking professional expertise, he has become a distinctive voice in Iranian media.
